Known for rich color and extraordinary figure that is far superior to Eastern Walnut, Claro Walnut is a unique species from the Pacific Coast. Most of the supply originates in orchards as either production Walnut trees or wind row trees. Color ranges from a lighter pale brown to a dark chocolate brown with darker brown streaks. Lots of orange, reds and sometimes purple tones. A really gorgeous species of wood.
